Hardwax

The basic product is liquid and can be applied with a cloth, brush or  a rotating machine (floors).

The VERONA hard wax dries completely mat (after 12 hours) and will need two days to reach its full strength. The hard wax penetrates partially into the surface and depending on the suction 1 or 2 layers are necessary.

Merkelbach Hardwax VERONA has been made with quality raw materials. Therefore  the hard wax ca be used on wooden floors but also on concrete or leveling compound.

Hard Wax is available in different colors. However, it should not be considered as a paint: you get sufficient stain, but no full-covering layer, the surface remains visible. Beautiful effects are achieved with greyish hard wax on teak or brute pine furniture.

Professionals can dye the hard wax itself with the aid of pigments and dyes. The wax basis tolerates high concentrations of pigments.

After applying the hard wax you can still use Merkelbach wax as a maintenance coat. This gives a local soft sheen.
